Montessori School of Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) is celebrating 50 years of “Peace through Education” in the Charlottesville area, and we are seeking a Lead Primary (3-6) Guide for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates should hold Children’s House/Primary certification from a MACTE-accredited training center or be willing to begin training before starting work. We are looking for individuals who will be committed to upholding Montessori techniques and philosophy while supporting colleagues and families with an emphasis on collaboration and support. Punctuality and strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is a deep respect for children and our environment. We strive to create a joyful, diverse, and peaceful school.
Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-3pm. Salary for the academic year begins at $36,000, with summer compensation contracted separately. Salary increases according to a candidate’s education, training, and experience.
