90-hour MD Certificate

MSDE training certificates (with the appropriate Core of Knowledge area and hours) are provided at no additional cost after each participant completes a brief questionnaire.

With this approval, WMI also offers a 90-hour training course to fulfill the pre-service training requirement for non-trained staff.

The 90-hour certificate consists of

• A WMI Orientation Course — $950; 60 hours, plus 9 hours of observation
• An add-on course — $300; 21 hours of asynchronous online assignments on Populi, covering ADA requirements, child abuse and neglect, health and nutrition, and further Montessori theory and material-making lessons
