NOTE:
All workshops include a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certificate with training hours for each participant.
All workshops count toward the AMI/USA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirement.
Virtual workshops will be recorded and available to participants for two weeks after.
Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge about these tools and the best practices for implementation to maintain fidelity to AMI standards….I wanted to express gratitude for such a quality workshop and gathering of minds.
I left the workshop feeling invigorated and empowered to reach all of the children I get to work with, and I felt freshly enthused to incorporate new ways to connect them with the power of expressive writing, as well as more patient and prepared to follow them on their own path of development—rather than focus on a result or a take-home work that would please their parents.
I have watched the Freedom and Discipline presentation that Jennifer Shields gave in September three times and each time I have found golden nuggets of inspiration. The timing of the workshop could not have come at a better time and it was a wonderful way to prepare for the new school year. I look forward to more of these in-depth presentations from Washington Montessori Institute.
