Many teachers and schools find spelling a source of anxiety and often use spelling programs which, according to research, may not be particularly effective. From a Montessori perspective, such approaches may also limit our view of the child. This workshop will focus on assisting schools and teachers in integrating spelling across all their presentations, particularly emphasizing the importance of the morphemic and etymological contexts of the English language.
