ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
AMI trainers Jennifer Shields and Naoko Ogawa will spend a Saturday with assistants exploring spoken language. This hands-on workshop will provide a practical overview into how the Montessori casa can offer language to the primary child.
Topics will include:

How to talk to children and how to listen

How to prepare children for writing and reading

How to garner cooperation and manage behaviors

How to share books, poems, finger plays

Practice telling true stories in a workshopping format
Maryland participants will receive 6 MSDE training hours for attending this workshop.
