To support our community, WMI offers comprehensive consultation services to Montessori schools in our region. 

Our experienced AMI trainers and Consultants work closely with each school to offer highly personalized support based on the needs and goals of each school community. Our trainers are available to work onsite and online. 

A consultation may include but is not limited to: 

  • Initial surveys with follow-up visits 
  • Observations followed by in depth meetings to offer support
  • Leading workshops for teachers, assistants, administrators
  • Help to prepare a new or existing classroom environment
  • Modeling classroom practice: e.g., showing a lesson, directing a group, according to a teacher’s needs 
  • Working with a team or group of teachers/assistants
  • Support with observation, planning, and record keeping

I have watched the Freedom and Discipline presentation that Jennifer Shields gave in September three times and each time I have found golden nuggets of inspiration. The timing of the workshop could not have come at a better time and it was a wonderful way to prepare for the new school year.
